This FREE 5-week programme is perfect for young people aged 15-18s who are interested in exploring drama and theatre through group exercises and fun creative tasks. Activities are tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will work collaboratively with others, share ideas and have opportunities to perform whilst learning about LYT and future opportunities with us.
Who is the programme for?
For young people aged 15-18 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in theatre, performance and theatre making opportunities.
This programme will run in February and March 2025. Please complete a New Enquiry Form to be added to our secure database and receive information about how to register your interest.

This FREE 11-week programme is perfect for young people aged 15-18 who are interested in performing. Facilitators will support the group to share ideas, devise a script and perform. Activities are tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence, communication and leadership skills.
Who is the programme for?
For current LYT members aged 15-18 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and theatre making. To take part, your young person will need to have completed a SYT Workshop programme or a previous performance programme.
This programme will run from May – July 2025. The LYT Participation team will contact all existing members with information about how to register.
Want to share ideas, tell stories and explore characters?
This FREE intense 1-week programme is perfect for young people aged 15-18 who are interested in creating stories, developing characters and writing for performances. Facilitators will support the group to create their own material, share ideas and develop scripts. Activities are tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence, communication and creative skills.
Who is the programme for?
For current LYT members aged 15-18 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and theatre making opportunities. To take part your young person must have completed a performance at LYT.
How do I take part?
This programme will run during August 2025. The LYT Participation team will contact all existing members with information about how to register your interest.
