Access information
The following video shows a walk through of access into and through the LYT’s building, around the ground floor studio, into the kitchen and office and onto the first floor studio. Also below are measurements of all accessible doorways. We have a permanent ramp leading to the builing, as well as accessible emergency exits on the ground floor.
The front door is 167 cm wide.
The entrance doors to the hallway and ground floor studio is 183 cm wide.
The Zen Den door entrance is 72.4 cm wide, with a tight 90 degree turn to access the room.
There is one accessible toilet for wheelchair users, with adaptions such as support grab rails, the door is 88 cm wide. There are 2 additional toilets, which are not accessible for wheelchair users.
Entrance doorway into the kitchen and ground floor office is 73 cm wide, with tight turns to access both spaces.
The door to the technical room is 81 cm wide.
The first floor is not wheelchair accessible, with 15 stairs and tight turns to access both spaces.
