#AintJustDrama Social Media Takeover

@LDN_GOV Social Media Take-Over

#AintJustDrama
Monday 16th December

Join our Members’ Committee to tell London
How theatre has helped create your future

We’re  taking over the twitter and instagram accounts of London’s City Hall for one day only to talk about how our work helps create positive futures for our participants.

On Monday 16th December, join our campaign and help us tell Londoners about the important impact that theatre has in the lives of young people.

When?  Monday 16th December 2019, 9am – 5pm

What should I do? Post on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #AintJustDrama. Post about how taking part in theatre has given you – or those you know – the skills, ambition and drive to achieve.

Here’s a sample post from our Members’ Committee:
@Lewyoutheatre helped me become more confident and make more friends. I can finally say to myself:
“You’re not a quitter. You can handle it, and you can really push yourself in the future.” #AintJustDrama

Why this campaign?  Our Members’ Committee have told us that whether you want to go into the creative industries or any other field, theatre helps build confidence and skills, life-long friendships, and opens your eyes to so many new possibilities. That’s why they’ve come up with the hashtag #AintJustDrama to shine a light on all the ways places like LYT help young people build positive futures.

Why should I join in? When you use the #AintJustDrama hashtag on 16th December, we’ll be able to like and amplify your post from @LDN_Gov accounts. Help us make sure Londoners hear about all the ways theatre is inspiring young people across London.
