“The Parched Lands”
part of the Youth Voices 2022 Season
The Junior Youth Theatre Acting Company presented “The Parched Lands” – the 4th incarnation of script originally written by Pia Ashberry over 15 years ago. Written by Helen Stanley with the company, the play takes you on an adventure into a virtual video game, where a group of friends must rescue Vanessa, a girl struggling during Lockdown and who’s now become stuck in The Parched Lands – a barren wasteland.
Project dates: April – July 2022
Performance dates: 28th & 29th July

Participants: 19 performers and 4 graduate creatives as assistant directors, designers and technicians.
