“The students got a lot out of watching young adults acting confidently and leading the discussions effectively. They got a lot out of the fact that they related to the subject matter and could offer advice to the characters and see it played out! Thank you!”
Teacher
“Absolutely brilliant! So great to see the talent in the borough shining through. I look forward to seeing more.”

#Filtered was a Forum Theatre performance, created and performed by LYT’s Young Touring Company. Using the relationship of Hamlet and Ophelia as the starting point in creating the play, #Filtered explored modern-day relationships, social media and what it means to be true to yourself when you think everyone’s looking.
The play toured to 6 schools and youth settings around Lewisham and performed in two public performances on the Broadway Theatre’s Main House on 16th March 2016 (as part of the Catford Upon Avon Shakespeare Festival) and on 30th March 2016 (as part of Lively Up Shakespeare, an international evening of Shakespeare shorts.)
