This FREE five week programme is suitable for young people aged 8-11 who are interested in exploring drama and theatre through group exercises and games. Activities will be tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence and communication skills whilst learning about LYT and future opportunities with us.
Who is the programme for?
For young people ages 8-11 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and script writing opportunities.

This will involve working closely as a team; sharing ideas, script writing and performing. Activities will be tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence, communication and leadership skills whilst learning about LYT and future opportunities with us.
Who is the programme for?
For current LYT members aged 8-11 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and script writing opportunities. In order to take part, your young person will need to have completed JYT1 Workshop programme.
This programme will run from January – April 2025 on either Tuesdays or Saturdays. The LYT Participation team will contact all existing members with information about how to register.
Want to sharing ideas, tell stories and exploring characters?
This FREE six week programme is suitable for young people aged 8-14 who are interested in devising and writing for performance. This will involve working closely as a team; devising material, sharing ideas and developing scripts. Activities will be tailor made to the group and accessible for all abilities. Your young person will build their confidence, communication and leadership skills whilst learning about LYT and future opportunities with us.
Who is the programme for?
For current LYT members aged 8-14 who live and/or learn in Lewisham and are interested in drama, performance and script writing opportunities. In order to take part, your young person will need to have completed a JYT1 Performance or Devising programme.
How do I take part?
This programme will run during April and May 2025. The LYT Participation team will contact all existing members with information about how to register your interest.
