Junior Youth Theatre 2 Workshop Groups
Learn more about the world of theatre with this short, fun project.
Discover more about acting, meet new people and try out new ways of creating theatre. Through attending the weekly sessions you will develop your confidence, your creativity and your acting and performance skills. Workshops include warm-ups, drama games and fun exercises exploring different drama techniques. This project is about developing skills and does not lead towards a public performance.

Junior Youth Theatre 2 Performance Group
This project will use drama exercises and improvisation to develop a performance. It’s a great opportunity to try out your acting skill and have a say in what you create.
The groups will work towards a devised performance, using the drama activities and exercises from the weekly workshops to create a piece of theatre. Each group is led by two experienced theatre workshop tutors or core members of staff and a team of volunteer assistants to devise, rehearse and perform a sharing of their work in LYT’s new creative hub on Lewisham High Street.
To be held on:
Wednesdays
May – July with performances on 31st July 2024

How To Take Part

To take part in Junior Youth Theatre 2 you need to:
- Be aged between 11-14 and be keen to take part
- Live or learn in the London Borough of Lewisham
- Attend no other after school drama group
- Priority is given to those who attend state/free schools, academies or home schooling
