Your Support Can Transform Local Lives
“I have been going through such a hard time lately and having LYT is one of the things that kept me going. You guys built my confidence so much like a little bird learning to fly. If I never found LYT, I don’t know where I would be.”

“LYT has essentially altered the overall trajectory of their lives.”
Independent Evaluator, LYT’s BIG Impact Report, June 2017
In celebration of our 30th birthday year, we are launching a regular giving programme, enabling us to plan our work and achieve greater impact over the coming months and years.
How could my donation alter the overall trajectory of a young person’s life?
£5 a month supports LYT’s Members’ Committee, for 25 individuals to shape LYT’s programme, nurturing their leadership skills and a sense of belonging
£10 a month supports our hardship fund, providing bursaries and targeted expenses to young people facing overwhelming financial difficulties so that can access our programmes to build emotional resilience and wellbeing.
£20 a month enables one disadvantaged young person to participate in our annual theatre programme, providing c.75 hours of workshops and performance, nurturing their social skills, teamwork, empathy and understanding
£50 a month supports an LYT member to achieve a nationally recognised Arts Award qualification, building aspirations, developing critical analysis skills and a sense of self-identity
£100 a month supports a Technical Theatre Facilitator, protecting the high quality of our programmes by providing inspiring leadership for our hugely popular Technical Theatre programme
