“ROAR!” - our top quality Saturday morning children’s theatre at the Broadway Theatre.

Performances are for children aged 3-8 and their families.

Each show is carefully chosen by LYT artistic directors to ensure a diverse, relevant and exciting programme.

An art table is available for children to create their own work before and after going into the show.

Through funding we have been able to set ticket prices at affordable levels to encourage as wide ranging an audience as possible.

Working in partnership with local Sure Start groups and community nurseries we also reach children and families who would otherwise be excluded.

For many who come to a “ROAR!” event it is their first visit to the theatre.

“ROAR!” has proved a tremendous success;

• We have attracted new audiences to the Broadway hopefully beginning an ongoing relationship with theatre for many

• We have established a recognised venue for children’s theatre in south east London

Our aim is to continue producing "ROAR!" and to continue raising funds to ensure we can include children who may not otherwise have access to the magic of theatre.
